Shipyards are the graveyard of welding cable. So Trystar cable features an extra heavy-duty jacket that can stand up to constant dragging through the yard. It resists oil, water and abrasion, and remains flexible in extreme cold (-49°C). Like all our welding cable, it has a visible safety liner under the outer jacket, so you can see any cuts or nicks or excessive wear. Trystar shipyard cable is manufactured to AWG standards, which means you get every strand of copper wire you’re entitled to (1330 strands in our 2/0 cable). Shipyard cable takes a beating, and Trystar cable has proven that it can excel in that extremely tough environment.
