We are seeking a Quality System Specialists who enjoys working as a member of a team to support, improve & drive elements of our quality management system into our quality management software system (QT9). This position will report to our Quality Leader and will work collaboratively with other parts of the organization and team members to maximize success for Trystar and our customers.

As Trystar’s Quality System Specialist you will:

  • Demonstrate Trystar’s guiding principles and values.
  • Implement and manage Document Control and Training in our Quality Management System ensuring accuracy, quality, and integrity are properly maintained and controlled.
  • Establish and implement a plan to migrate existing documentation from various electronic storage location into our QT9 document control system.
  • Collaborate with other functions (e.g., Engineering, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Planning, etc.) to support the establishment of the necessary documents within our operating system.
  • Support other functions to create effective documentation and to fit within a standardized framework.
  • Manage/track the identification and assignment of training requirements by position/role throughout the operation.
  • Train employees on our Quality System procedures.
  • Audit and test employees at production processes for certification.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Implement and maintain Records Control, Auditing, Calibration, Non-Conformance, and Corrective Action systems.
  • Implementation of Risk Assessment and Mitigation System.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet, and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; making customer issues a priority.
  • Use a data-driven, decision-making process and utilize systematic problem-solving applying lean/six sigma tools & techniques.

Qualifications

  • A passion for Trystar, its culture, and its strategic vision.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent data/document management experience.
  • Previous experience working in a Quality discipline preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management and other departments.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Suite required.
  • Previous experience with ERP (Epicor or other), data/document management software preferred.
  • Familiarity with instructional methods, coaching and skill development.
  • Strong organizational leadership and planning skills.
  • Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and work well in a collaborative environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work with and influence others in fast paced environment.
  • Bilingual (Spanish- English) preferred.
