Controlled Power Company www.controlledpwr.com, a U.S. manufacturer of a full line of commercial, industrial, and medical-grade electrical power solutions, announces the availability of seismic-rated, centralized emergency lighting inverters. The company’s single phase “UltraLITE Model ELU” (1.5 kW – 14 kW) and three phase “EON Model EL3” (10kW – 33kW) inverters are designed and tested in accordance with applicable portions of the following standards:
- ICC – AC156: “Acceptance Criteria for Seismic Certification by Shake-Table Testing of Nonstructural Components and Systems”
- California Building Code – CBC 2016
- International Building Code – IBC 2015
The verification testing required is recognized and accepted throughout the U.S. and many other countries. Citing an increasing number of requests for seismic-rated emergency lighting inverters throughout its North American markets, the availability these products will now reduce the time required for an engineer to locate and select the necessary equipment for specification.
