P5500 Series Rectifiers
Trystar P5500 Series Rectifiers are designed for high-power, reliable, and regulated DC power in demanding environments, including plating, crane power supplies, and water de-ionization/treatment processes. Industrial Rectifiers provide continuous duty operations with robust power transformers and Silicon Controlled Rectifiers (SCR) for controlled, robust performance. The P5500 Series offers output voltages from 2V to 600V and currents up to 1000A, and are able to operate at their maximum rated voltage and power without exceeding their insulation limits. Supports RS232/485 Modbus communications options, enabling remote monitoring and control.

- SCR Bridge with Isolation Transformer – Six-phase SCR thyristor design with double-wound isolation transformer provides complete electrical separation between input and output, enhancing personnel and equipment safety while delivering precise voltage regulation.
- Modular Construction – Structured wiring and modular components reduce the time spent on troubleshooting and parts replacement, minimizing downtime and the need for specialized technical expertise.
- Integrated Metering & Controls – Digital ammeter and voltmeter (accurate within 0.5% RMS), fault reset, and intuitive keyboard controls allow operators to monitor performance and adjust parameters easily, simplifying process control adjustments.
- Comprehensive Safety Features – Multiple protective layers safeguard personnel and equipment, including the AC breaker, door interlock, emergency stop, over-temperature shutdowns, and remote shutdown capability to help prevent access to live components, ensuring safer operation.
- Remote Monitoring Capability – Optional RS232/485 Modbus ports provide remote parameter reading, adjusting, and diagnosing without site visits, supporting centralized remote monitoring of multiple units.
- Environmental & Mechanical Durability – NEMA 3R weather-resistant enclosure, forced-air cooling, and robust insulation ensure reliable performance that withstands harsh industrial environments.
- Power Transformer Protection – Critical safety features, including low-flux windings, thermal overload devices, and VPI insulation, help prevent catastrophic damage and costly downtime for long-term operational safety and reliability.
