Dual Purpose Docking Stations
The Trystar Dual-Purpose Docking Station provides a safe, efficient, and NEC-compliant way to connect both a portable generator and a load bank simultaneously. By eliminating the need for hardwiring into the main breaker, it saves time and money during generator service, maintenance, and testing.
Equipped with the industry-standard Kirk Key interlock system, the station ensures safe and seamless power transfer between permanent and portable generators. Available in multiple enclosure options—wall-mount, flush-mount, and pad-mount—it integrates easily into new or existing infrastructure.
Engineered for resiliency and reliability, the Dual-Purpose Docking Station supports both emergency backup power and routine generator testing. Dedicated load bank connections allow for regular testing without putting unnecessary wear on mechanical components, keeping permanent generators ready to perform at a moment’s notice.
Highly customizable with optional features, add-ons, custom colors, and UV-printed graphics, the Trystar Dual-Purpose Docking Station is trusted for mission-critical facilities, disaster response, mobile medical sites, and large-scale events. Built for rugged, repetitive use, it ensures fast, safe, and uninterrupted operations, even as grid instability and extreme weather events become more common.
Features
- Minimize Downtime & Ensure Business Continuity – Industry-standard camlock connections eliminate the need for temporary modifications, allowing facilities to restore power quickly and safely during outages. This reduces response time and keeps operations running without costly interruptions.
- Improve ROI & Extend Equipment Life – Integrated generator and load bank connections reduce mechanical wear, one of the leading causes of electrical failure. Dedicated load bank access also streamlines routine testing, cutting setup time and lowering operational costs.
- Enhance Safety & Compliance – Built to meet NEC 700.3(F) requirements, each unit features mechanical interlocks to prevent accidental interconnections. UL-listed configurations ensure every installation is safe, compliant, and built to code.
- Save Time and Money on Installation – By combining generator and load bank connections in a single enclosure, the docking station simplifies setup, reduces labor, and eliminates the need for additional cabinets.
- Adapt to Any Facility or Application – Available in wall-mount, flush-mount, and pad-mount enclosures, with customizable features, finishes, and UV-printed branding, the unit integrates seamlessly into any facility’s power management system.
- Built for Rugged, Repetitive Use – Engineered for demanding environments, the Dual-Purpose Docking Station delivers reliable, repeatable performance for mission-critical facilities, disaster response, mobile medical sites, and large-scale events.
