Trystar’s “OZPCS-RS40” Power Conversion System Now ETL Listed To UL 1741SB Standards

We’re excited to announce that we’ve recently received the authorization to mark our “Model OZPCS-RS40” Rack Scale™ power conversion system (PCS) as being ETL Listed to UL 1741SB standards.

Designed and manufactured in Trystar’s Merrimack NH location, (formerly known as Oztek Corp), our “OZPCS-RS40” is a rack-mounted, four-quadrant, bi-directional, three phase PCS specifically designed for grid-tied and microgrid energy storage applications. The new UL 1741SB listing (known as “Supplement B”) includes a testing process which verifies that the PCS is able to perform smart-inverter functions, therefore making it much more resilient in the face of dynamic power grid conditions.   Additionally, the “OZPCS-RS40” is listed to the CSA C22.2 No. 107.1 standard as power conversion equipment, and is SunSpec Modbus Certified.

(The SunSpec Certified™ mark represents an ecosystem of SunSpec tested and approved products.   SunSpec Alliance certifies Distributed Energy Resources system components and software applications for compliance with official and de facto communication standards.)

As Trystar has continued to grow, we’ve seen an increase in the demand for smart-inverter connectivity; as well as scalable, reliable products in the energy storage market. Meeting the new UL 1741SB standard represents the future of energy storage, and we’ve seen an overwhelmingly positive response from our customers.

Having the “Supplement B” certification demonstrates our commitment to keeping up with the evolving smart-inverter grid requirements, and is a major step for Trystar as we continue to move forward in the energy storage market.
