Dealing with medium voltage, shielded cable requires a great deal of training and experience. That’s why Trystar SH Flexible cable is assembled by our own Master Electricians with decades of medium voltage field experience handling these types of cables. And for your peace of mind, each assembly is Hi-Pot tested and shipped with the corresponding test results.

DESCRIPTION
Trystar brand SH Flexible cable is furnished with an annealed flexible stranded tin-coated copper (Class K) in accordance with ASTM B-172 and ICEA. The conductor is shielded with a semi-conducting tape and layer over the conductor. Insulated with ethylene-propylene rubber (EPR), that is then shielded by a semi-conducting and composite tinned copper/nylon braid and coated with a heavy-duty thermosetting poly-chloroprene jacket. It exhibits excellent ozone, sun, flame, oil, and heat resistance, resists abrasion and is flexible in cold weather to -40°C.
