Radiator Duct Mounted Load Banks
The Trystar LD Series Radiator Duct Mounted Load Banks provide a cost-effective, reliable solution for maintaining diesel generators and preventing wet-stacking during light load operation. Designed for mission-critical standby systems, they deliver supplemental load and support scheduled maintenance testing to ensure peak generator performance. Built with rugged PowerDyne™ resistors and galvanized steel construction, the LD Series is engineered for long-term durability. Intelligent controls, illuminated indicators, and automatic load level control enhance safety and ease of use, while options like automatic load dump and remote alarm integration provide seamless compatibility with generator and facility management systems.

- Flexible Load Capacity – Available from 10 kW to 1200 kW at single- or three-phase voltages up to 600 VAC, typically sized at 50% of generator rating for optimal performance.
- Intelligent Controls for Safety & Efficiency – Includes illuminated main and load switches, individual load step switches, and smart fault indicators. Over-temperature circuits and an Emergency Stop safeguard both equipment and operators.
- Prevents Generator Wet-Stacking – Provides supplemental load during light-load operation, protecting diesel generators from wet-stacking and ensuring cleaner, more efficient performance.

- Remote Indication & Alarm – Provides contact closures for integration into building management systems, enabling real-time alerts for Over-Temperature and Load Dump conditions.
- Automatic Load Level Control (Optional) – Monitors connected load and automatically adjusts supplemental load steps, ensuring precise regulation and preventing engine damage.
