Load Banks Derating Tool

A load bank’s kW capacity is dependent upon the applied operating voltage. Some load banks can be operated at a lower-than-rated voltage, however, the output kW is reduced. The below derating tool calculates the reduced kW capacity of a load bank when a lower-than-rated voltage is applied. To use the tool, enter the nameplate kW, voltage and frequency of the load bank and the reduced (actual) voltage and frequency applied. Columns in bold are the calculated results.
