Electrical High Voltage/Low Voltage Field Service Technician I

As a Field Service Technician, you will travel to customer sites and perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair activities on Trystar equipment. The Field Service Technician independently executes field service work and serves as Person-in-Charge (PIC) for defined service jobs. This role will work directly with customers and installers in the field and provide various field service activities for Trystar’s offerings from commissioning, planned maintenance, equipment upgrades, troubleshooting, and repair.

Ideal for candidates who:

  • Support Level 2 and Level 3 technicians on maintenance, retrofits, and commissioning activities
  • Assist with high and low voltage maintenance tasks and basic system checks
  • Perform routine inspection and testing activities including IR scans and repairs, grounding tests, and Z32 testing.
  • Execute planned maintenance and assist with troubleshooting under supervision
  • Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, parts usage, and findings
  • Ensure adherence to all safety procedures and use of PPE
  • Communicate job status and escalate issues appropriately
  • Support of all other field activities

Electrical High Voltage/Low Voltage Field Service Technician II

As a Field Service Technician II, you will travel to customer sites and perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair activities on Trystar equipment. The Field Service Technician II will work directly with customers and installers in the field and provide various field service activities for Trystar’s offerings from commissioning, planned maintenance, equipment upgrades, troubleshooting, and repair.

Ideal for candidates who:

  • Serve as person-in-charge for high and low voltage maintenance, retrofit, and small-scale commissioning projects; support of large-scale commissioning jobs
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and corrective maintenance independently
  • Execute electrical testing and diagnostics using appropriate equipment
  • Lead IR scanning, repairs, and inspection activities
  • Support larger commissioning efforts led by senior technicians
  • Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to Level 1 technicians
  • Interface directly with customers to resolve issues and communicate status
  • Document service work and provide technical feedback for continuous improvement
  • Train and mentor Level 1 technicians
  • Support of all other field activities

Electrical High Voltage/Low Voltage Field Service Technician III

As a Field Service Technician III, you will be a senior technical leader responsible for complex field operations, major commissioning activities, and mentoring the service organization. This role will work directly with customers and installers in the field and provide various field service activities for Trystar’s offerings from commissioning, planned maintenance, equipment upgrades, troubleshooting, and repair.

Ideal for candidates who:

  • Serve as person-in-charge for large-scale commissioning, startup, and complex retrofit projects
  • Lead troubleshooting and work on and maintain high, medium, and low voltage systems
  • Service, maintain, repair, assemble, troubleshoot and commission electrical apparatus and protective devices
  • Perform advanced diagnostics and root cause analysis
  • Analyze test data and produce detailed technical reports
  • Lead multi-resource service projects and coordinate field activities
  • Train and mentor Level 1 and Level 2 technicians
  • Support engineering with field data, system validation, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Operate various types of electrical test equipment, analyze test data and compile technical reports
  • Manage critical customer interactions and high-visibility service events
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures
  • Assist engineers in data collection, completion of power system studies, site inspections, equipment design, project scope development
  • Maintain positive client relationships through on-site interactions
